Use page controls with a keyboard
You can move between the site's standard links, buttons and form fields using keyboard navigation. This guide explains the controls used by the header, checkout and expandable product details, and how to report a control that blocks you.
What you need
- A keyboard
- The page where you want to act
Move to the control you need
Press Tab to move forward and Shift+Tab to move back through focusable controls. Look for the focused link, button or field before activating it. The tab order follows the page, so the next control may require scrolling.
Open a link or section
Press Enter on a focused link. Buttons normally respond to Enter or Space. On an Old Money product page, focus a details heading such as Size guide and activate it to expand the content.
Close a header panel
Press Escape to close header search or navigation panels. The school section navigator also responds to Escape and returns focus to its opener. If another dialog behaves differently, use its visible close control.
Review forms before submitting
Move through checkout fields and read their labels. Use the keyboard to choose values, then review the order. Activating the submit button sends the form, so check required details first.
This describes available controls, not a claim that every page has passed a complete accessibility audit.
If it doesn't work
Focus disappears or a control cannot be reached
Record the page URL, control name, keys pressed and browser. Include your assistive technology if relevant. Contact support and explain the action you need help completing.
