Clarify what your project includes

Turn a broad request into a list of deliverables and open questions before treating the scope as agreed.

What you need

  • The service page or package description
  • Your brief or existing conversation
  1. List the expected deliverables

Write down the pages, files, formats, languages or integrations you expect. Include quantities where they matter. Compare that list with the chosen service package and mark items that are missing or unclear.

  2. Name responsibilities and inputs

Say which materials you will provide, such as text, brand files or references. Explain who can approve the result and whether another supplier or internal team must provide something first.

  3. Send focused questions

If the request exists, ask in its conversation or project email. For a new request, put the questions in the service brief. Ask about specific uncertainties, such as whether a second language or an extra format is included.

  4. Check the written answer

Compare the response with your list. Ask about anything still unclear, including its effect on price and schedule. Keep the clarification in the project exchange so later changes have a clear starting point.

A displayed package or a submitted request alone does not resolve requirements that were never described.

If it doesn't work

The work has already been agreed

Describe new requirements as changes to the existing project, with the relevant version and a clear change list.
