Add and verify your phone number

Attach a phone number to your V13 ID through the separate SMS verification flow in your profile. Saving profile text alone does not attach a verified number.

What you need

  • A signed-in account
  • A phone you can receive SMS on and its international country code

  1. Open the phone controls

    Open your cabinet, select Profile and find Contact and location. Locate the phone field and Verify number action.

  2. Enter the international number

    Enter the number beginning with + and the country calling code. Select Verify number and complete any browser verification shown.

  3. Confirm the SMS code

    Check the destination displayed by the form, then enter the six-digit SMS code and confirm. Wait for the profile to show the verified number.

  4. Resolve a failed attempt

    Check the number and mobile reception if the SMS is missing. Follow the on-screen retry message. If the number is already linked elsewhere or verification is unavailable, use support rather than repeatedly submitting.

The SMS verification step is separate from the profile Save button. Never give the SMS code to another person.
